Silicon Valley doesn’t have a neat, tight area. It’s a little amorphous. But here are some general guidelines and a map of most of it:
- Most of Silicon Valley is in Santa Clara County, which is often referred to as “the South Bay” (southern part of the San Francisco Bay Area). The Roman Catholic Diocese of San Jose covers the same turf as Santa Clara County so is at least 80% or 85% of “Silicon Valley Catholic” territory.
- Silicon Valley spreads beyond the borders of Santa Clara County so goes into other dioceses as well. It includes parts of these areas:
